Today we are  dedicate our lesson to Abay Kunanbaev’s 175 years anniversary.  Abay Kunanbaev is the greatest poet of Kazakh people.

He was a well-known Kazakh poet, a great thinker, composer, philosopher, the founder of written Kazakh literature, and its first classic.

This year hole Kazakhstan is going to celebrate this anniversary. And we also want to participate in this important date and show our respect.

One more great work of Abay Kunanbaev is “Kara sozder” it is called in English “book of words” This book includes different topics – Kazakhstan history, love for fatherland, culture, people's psychology and philosophy of life . This book also translated all over the world.

Abay Kunanbaev is a great person. He was also translator. He translated the works of  Lermontov, Krylov, Schiller, Goethe, and  Byron etc  into Kazakh language. His works also were  translated into many foreign languages.
